Valentine's Day Delight

Ok, so before I get into what this post is about, which is Valentine's Day, can I get a minute to let the fact that it's already February sink in. Man, this time-flying seriously ain't no joke hey. But ya, I guess we just have to go with the flow. How low can you go, can you go down low, all the way to the flo'? Lol, sorry, I know that was super random. But it automatically started playing in my head after I typed ' flow '.

Anyway, let me just move on even though my mind still hasn't quite grasped February. February. February. February. Come on, it's February damn it! Jeez, I've been saying damn it way too often in recent posts. And it really doesn't go with this outfit! 

Besides Februaaaryyy serving as a reminder of how fast time flies, I also realized this is my fourth Valentine's post since I started blogging. Well, the first time I did something for Love day, which was in 2012, it was this video for YouTube, since I wasn't all that into blogging just yet. I need to do video's again. I really enjoyed it! 

But alas, here we are again. Valentine's Day, or as I like to call it, Love Day. I'm not going to give my usual 'it's all about the love and not just love between partners speech'. If you'd like to read my thoughts on that and other reasons people tend to be anti-Valentine's day, drop by this post. 

So I got this dress a couple of weeks ago and thought it's the perfect little dress to wear on a special lunch date. It has a fun, yet stylish look. Just my type of garment. The white and soft pastel peach/pink (forgive me, I'm colour-blind. No, not really, but in this case, yes. lol) is so cute and feminine. I'm not going to lie, I took the hem in a bit. Ya, obvious right? I mean, what's up with the poof? But I like it! The dress is a little longer stock, so if you are not 'all about that legs, 'bout that legs', no worries, it should get you a few centimeters above the knee. 

Aaah, yes, the Paris pendant necklace simply had to go with it. Paris equals love after all. I chose to go with a neutral bag and shoes, which is where the nude Blackcherry handbag and Steve Madden shoes came in.
