Angel La Vie: Wrapped in White

I'll be honest. The name of this post was inspired by one of my fave bloggers, Aimee Song. I was on her site earlier and came across a post named ' Wrapped in Black '. Check her out, she's everythang!

So here I am, wrapped in white for the Forever 21 SA Launch. Whenever I have an event/function to attend, like most girls, I go into a 'what to wear' dilemma. So would you believe that I usually only run to the store either the night before or morning of to get something? The main thing that runs through my mind is whether to dress up, down or in between, because I don't want to stick out like a sore thumb if the crowd is predominantly going to be in one of the three categories. Then I thought to myself, 'you know what, who cares if you are the only one dressed a certain way? Just be yourself and go exactly the way you want to without worrying about what other attendees are going to wear. Represent you'. And in the end, there was a good mix of all styles in the crowd anyway.

I love dressing up but didn't want to look like I'm off to a super formal evening event, so I looked for something causal yet chic. The mint version in this dress initially caught my eye but while holding it up I spotted it in white. The sporty fabric and wrap design made the dress exactly what I wanted.

I went for a minimalistic look hence the dainty accessories. I picked up the diamante encrusted infinity bangle and by chance came across the infinity pendant necklace at a different shop. I almost grabbed the earrings to match but thought it would be a bit much. I've had the shoes for about a year and this was the first time wearing it.
