Angel La Vie: Vogue Eyewear S|S 2015 Party

On Thursday the 12th of March 2015, I got to experience a night that I will never forget. This all thanks to a fun and beautiful celebration hosted by Vogue Eyewear, as they launched their new Spring & Summer campaign featuring gorgeous Brazilian model, Adriana Lima, as one of their new faces. The new collection is a true reflection of Adriana, as well as Vogue's two other faces, Deepika Padukone and Liu Shi-Shi, as they personally chose the collections for the new campaign. It's fun, playful and truly speaks

VOGUE.

I was mesmerized by the breathtaking view that Cape Town's Clifton Beach had to offer as we sipped on delicious cocktails. The amazing 12 Apostles was lit up by glorious sunshine and this added a magical touch to the scenery that included the ocean. When the sun set, the beauty turned into something that was nothing short of majestic.

I got to see familiar fashion friends and also met a few new people. I wish I could have gotten to some more familiar faces that I spotted but they'll be first on my list at the next event. Fashionista's lived up to the chic expectation of anyone associated with the Luxury brand that is Vogue. I was thrilled to receive a pair of Shades from their new Love Beat collection a few weeks ago. It's simple, chic and you can just see and feel it's sheer quality. Needless to say, it's my favorite eye accessory at the moment. I was even more thrilled when we got to try on various pairs at the event and choose one to take home. I decided to go for something outside of my norm with green frames. It's cool and funky, yet still has that chic touch of Vogue.

DJ Poppy Ntshongwana of 5fm entertained us with groovy sounds, while a fire was burning strong for anyone who felt a chill or who simply wanted to relax by the soothing sound of the burning flames. A clear blue pool looked mighty inviting for a dip but served as a delightful spot to chill with a drink in hand, while appreciating the view. Ladies got to get themselves treated with hairdo's, as well as make-up by the Inglot girls. Not that everyone didn't look fab already, but I saw some pretty awesome transformations taking place.

Adriana Lima graced us with her presence digitally and we got to hear all about her exciting new venture with Vogue. I must say that she is a perfect pick for the brand. Urgh, I wish I was her. Na, just kidding. Never wish you were someone else. There is someone else who wishes they were you. Appreciate everything you are and everything you have <3
