Last night I attended the Glenfiddich exclusive Groove Lounge event at Cubana in Green Point. An evening of neo-soul sounds by DJ Kenzhero set a relaxing ambience while we were treated with a glass of smooth Glenfiddich 12 year old on the rocks. Our taste buds were further tantalized by the delightful cocktails containing this smooth and mellow whisky.

I am personally not an avid whisky drinker but I have a taste once in a while. It went down really well with the cocktail blends. My partner who attended the event with me is however an avid whisky drinker and he enjoyed every bit of it's smoothness and taste.

This whisky in one hand and a cigar in another, along with soothing sounds would make for one fresh, joyful and relaxing evening. I for one had a really fun time winding down after a busy day!
